Instructions
Step 1: Open a browser on your computer and go to https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/proofup.aspx?proofup=1
Step 2: Sign into Office 365 with your CPS email address as username and your password like you normally do.
Step 3: Once signed in, select your preferred option from the dropdown.
- Phone Call - Will place a phone call to you to provide an authentication code
- Text - Will send you a text to you to provide an authentication code
- Microsoft Authenticator Notification - You will receive a notification from the Authenticator App (once installed) to approve sign in
- Authenticator App or Hardware Token - You provide an authentication code from your installed Microsoft Authenticator App
If you wish to use the MFA application on your mobile device, you will need to install the Microsoft Authenticator app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Store (Android)
Step 4: If you wish to use the Authenticator app, check the box and select "Set up Authenticator app"
Step 5: Follow the instructions for setting up the Authenticator App
Step 6: When you are finished select “Save” to save your changes.
