- Find the entry in question and select it.
- Click on the Pencil icon to enable editing of the entry
- In the Go to URL section, click the text box and scroll back until you see the “C:\Program Files (x86) part. Highlight the “(x86) part INCLUDING the space in front.
- Clear out the “ (x86)” section highlighted including the space. This part of the line should read C:\Program Files\VMWare\ at the beginning when completed as illustrated below.
- Click the Pencil icon again to save your changes.
